about us
- At Autumn Pointe, we take pride in creating a close-knit, family atmosphere for our residents. Many of our staff and residents have deep roots in the area, having been raised here and lived here for many years. We understand the importance of community and strive to make Autumn Pointe an extension of the home life our residents are used to. This allows them to stay in the same small community among friends and family they know and love. For those who come from farther away, our welcoming staff and residents make the transition as comfortable as possible. We strongly believe in treating each resident with dignity and respect, allowing them to maintain their expected lifestyle. Our personalized care and security measures give both residents and their families peace of mind.
Leadership
Meet Tammy Speck, Executive Director
Tammy's extensive experience in the field of Long Term Care is truly unmatched. With over 34 years of experience, she has dedicated her career to serving the elderly community. Her most recent role as the Executive Director at Autumn Pointe showcases her exceptional skills and dedication to the well-being of her residents. However, Tammy's passion for caring for the elderly began at the age of 19 when she started as a CNA/CMA, specifically working with those diagnosed with dementia. This passion has been ingrained in her since childhood, making her a natural and compassionate caregiver. To Tammy, caring for her residents is not just a job, but an opportunity to extend her family and provide them with additional support. Her top priority is always customer satisfaction, and she focuses on supporting her residents, their families, and her team. With Tammy at the helm, you can trust that your loved ones will receive the best care and attention they deserve.
Meet Amanda Becker, Director of Healthcare
Amanda Becker is a true hometown girl, having lived in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska her entire life. She has deep roots in the community, having grown up and graduated from high school in Fort Calhoun. After graduation, Amanda attended UNO for a year before transferring to Nebraska Methodist College to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. While studying at NMC, Amanda began working at Autumn Pointe as a medication aide in 2009. She found the family-like atmosphere at Autumn Pointe to be a perfect fit and after graduating with a Bachelor's degree in the Science of Nursing, she decided to stay and became the Director of Healthcare. Amanda has a special passion for working with the elderly and feels grateful to be able to do what she loves every day. She credits the welcoming and warm environment at Autumn Pointe, saying, "It's like having a lot of grandparents."

"our family is so happy that mom has found her home at autumn pointe!"
My mom loves living at Autumn Pointe! She has felt at home from the very first day she visited. She has a beautiful apartment that she has decorated with her furnishings from home. Mom looks forward to going to meals in the dining room, which is very clean. She enjoys going to chapel, library, activities (there are many to choose from) and visiting with friends. They make sure to get her to her doctor appointments when necessary. The staff is very attentive, caring and kind. Our family is so happy that mom has found her home at Autumn Pointe!
